At Boa Gente, nothing goes to waste. Every part of the coconut — the husk, shell, water, and meat — is fully used or commercialized, creating a zero-waste production cycle. Our process relies on no chemical inputs and minimal electricity, used only for grating and lighting.
We also embrace circular packaging: all our glass jars are collected, cleaned, and sterilized within the local community, supporting livelihoods and reducing waste and environmental footprint. Only the metal caps are purchased new. Learn more about our repurposing packaging activity.
Community & Environmental Action
Boa Gente is deeply committed to nurturing both people and planet. Through our community coconut nursery, we provide free seedlings to local families — one young coconut tree in exchange for three mature coconuts — encouraging replanting and ensuring a sustainable local supply for future generations. Our team also takes part regularly in World Clean-Up Day and other environmental initiatives, helping to raise awareness in the community about waste, reuse, and responsible living.
